At Asian PPG, we have not yet reached a great distance on the innovation path, but we believe in and nurture the culture of innovation.
Though innovations may be developed by less formal on-the-job modifications of practice or through exchange or combination of professional experience, we try to involve our employees in formal training on the tools that support innovation. Therefore at Asian PPG, you will find employees being trained in the concepts of creativity and the knowledge of application of statistical tools such as Six Sigma and DOE Tools for problem resolution and process improvements.
Asian PPG believes that failures should be identified and screened out as early in the process as possible and we can learn how to avoid failure when it is openly discussed and debated. An open culture that we have ensures this and makes it possible for us to learn from our mistakes.

At Asian PPG, we have begun to structure innovation measurements around balanced scorecards which cover several aspects such as business measures related to finances, process efficiency, employees' contribution and motivation, and benefits for customers. Improvement projects are taken up by employees that will benefit the organisation or its stakeholders.
