R & D Functions

Development and maintenance:

• Assimilate and indigenize the Paint & Resin technology received from PPG to make it conducive for Indian customers and environment.
• In-house development / modification of existing products / shades / processes as per customer requirement for quality improvement and cost optimisation.
• Keep track of technology development in the industry and decide on the new technology requirements.
• Development of test methods for product characterisation.

Technical services and validations:

• We have recently introduced PPG’s way of secure launch – ATSEL [Application Technology Science Engineering Launch] to ensure right first time at plant and customer end.
• Routine technical service to our customers, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Marketing, on an ongoing basis.

Training:

• Conduct Technical Training programmes for Customer, Institutional trainees, New comers and Field Personnel.
• Training programmes also conducted from internal or external faculty for improving the competency of Technology Personnels.

Vendor development:

• To evaluate and develop alternate raw materials, vendors for supply chain flexibility and cost benefits.

Quality systems:

• Design and implement quality systems across various functions.
• Root cause analysis to address customer concerns.
• Represent the organisation at various technical conferences and meetings.
